We are very proud of our newly refurbished Village Hall, having spent £65,000 on re-flooring the main hall, refitting and modernising the kitchen and bar, as well as refurbishing and putting in disabled toilet facilities to conform with new legislation.

The Hall was redecorated in August 2007.

Main users are local organisations, but we welcome bookings for private functions - Parties, Weddings, Dances etc - particularly at the week-ends. The maximum capacity of the hall is 130 people.

This is a large low hire cost hall with facilities suitable for receptions, parties, meetings, etc. It is centrally situated in the village. Refurbished in 2003.

 

Regular Hall users include:-

  • Yoga

  • Choral Society

  • Pilates

The hall has a stage, and there is a large modern kitchen and cloakrooms. The hall is available between 9.00am and 12midnight, and there are variable rates for hire:

Non-residents £20 per hour

Kitchen hire only (small meetings)
Residents £10 per hour
Non-residents £12 per hour

Non-residents £200

There is level access into hall for the disabled and recently installed toilet with wide door access.
